any number of cranes and pretty much anything you can dream up.

Included in the kit are: 

-46 beams and a dozen connecting dowels -

- assorted nuts and bolts  

-lengths of 1/8" string

-white plastic pulley wheels (sheaves)  

-a boom stabilizer 

-a small pulley

- a windlass

it also includes a completely assembled "truck chassis"-made up of a 4-wheel sub-base

that supports 2 pieces of 3/4" plywood with a lazy susan between them.

Let's start with a crane.

First build the triangular frame and set it on the truck chassis.

Now you can build a crane with a magnet instead of a hook.

This 40" boom is fixed at a 30 degree angle

You can TRANSFORM this crane into an excavator.  

Simply remove the last part of the boom (the #6 beam), and add the pivoting arm of the excavator and connect the yellow plastic "scoop".
